The EQUAL-SALARY Foundation is pleased to announce that the EQUAL-SALARY certification is now recognized by the Swissstainable label and the Swiss Triple Impact initiative as a sustainable development indicator for companies in Switzerland.
Swisstainable is a new sustainability strategy developed by Switzerland Tourism in collaboration with the tourism industry. The program aims to make the sustainability efforts of tourism companies more visible, and to offer customers greater transparency when booking sustainable offers. Swisstainable is based on three dimensions of sustainability (society, economy, environment) and proposes three levels of commitment for tourism providers.
The Swiss Triple Impact (STI) is a solution-oriented sustainability program for businesses of all sizes and sectors developed by B Lab Switzerland, one of the leading non-profit organizations in systems change, working to transform the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet. In three steps, the STI program helps Swiss businesses to become future-fit by creating an impactful sustainability strategy aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the Agenda 2030. Once pledges have been made, companies join the STI Directory, which aims to become the largest list of Swiss organizations that have committed to bold and concrete actions to contribute to the SDGs.
By being EQUAL-SALARY certified, companies can foster their achievement for equal pay and equal opportunity within both sustainable initiatives. This recognition shows that equal pay is foundational for sustainable development, paving the way for a comprehensive ESG approach.
